Overview
Ralph A. LaRossa is chair, president and chief executive officer of Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. (PSEG). Prior to this position he was President and COO of PSEG's utility business, PSE&G. It is New Jersey's oldest and largest regulated gas and electric delivery utility, serving approximately 2.4 million customers, nearly three-quarters of the state's population.
In 2014, LaRossa became Chairman of the Board of PSEG Long Island, a subsidiary of PSEG that manages the electric transmission and distribution systems on Long Island and in the Rockaways. PSEG Long Island serves 1.1 million customers.
LaRossa joined PSE&G in 1985 as an associate engineer and advanced through a variety of management positions in the utility’s gas and electric operations.
